iVAC 2L® * percutaneous ventricular assist device.

The single use iVAC 2L® system directly unloads the heart by active aspiration from the left ventricle, and simultaneously creates a counter pulsating flow in the ascending aorta.

The single lumen, 17Fr, bi-directional flow catheter provides triggered, synchronous pulsatile support.

Compatible with selected intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP) systems. See individual IABP IFU's.

Resulting in increased mean arterial pressure and clinically measurable cardiac output improvement of 1.5-2.0L/min.
